What to have ready when you call

- Engine make, model and approximate hours
- Where the boat is lying, and whether it is in the water
- What the engine is doing: noise, smoke colour, temperature, alarms
- For a survey, your sea trial or closing date
If you are broken down
Shut down an engine that is overheating or alarming rather than restarting it repeatedly. Repeated restarts turn small failures into large ones. Note the exact symptom and call (941) 780-1330.
